Dear All,
As a follow-up to Kaseya’s restoration of VSA SaaS in July, team MotivIT has fully regained access to remotely monitor and manage (RMM) all our customer endpoints including servers and workstations. In short, we are back to 100% after this extended outage as a result of commercial cybercrime. The magnitude and scale of this security breach has also reinforced the importance everyone plays in reducing cybersecurity risks. At no time were our customer environments at risk as confirmed by Kaseya’s swift actions and throughout all endpoints under our care were continuously protected with antivirus (AV) and monitored by our 24/7 network operations center (NOC) team.
At MotivIT, your success is our business. Every year we perform a comprehensive internal assessment of our technology platforms in use against their operational performance and efficiencies and with this recent incident, we have elected to fast-track our ’22 plans to replace our implementation of the Kaseya suite of IT management software after a long and successful three year partnership. This decision was not solely based on the VSA security breach but instead in-line with our strategic efforts to enable our teams to be more agile while retaining improved control over system administration and security.
I am pleased to share that as of this writing, the vast majority of our customers endpoints have been silently migrated to a new RMM platform. In the coming days, you will begin to notice visible changes in our support experience alongside our branding refresh that also has been moved ahead of schedule with the sole purpose of continuous improvement.
Your dedicated technical account managers will be following up in due course with more details to ensure your day-to-day operations remain uninterrupted.
Thank you once again for your continued trust and support.
